Q. Does RangeWeb offer web design services and domain name hosting?
A. Yes. RangeWeb offers additional web services through our affiliate Advanced Communications Technology. Please see our web services page or contact our webmaster for more details.
Q. Can I transfer my domain name to the RangeWeb servers?
A. Yes. Our Webmaster will assist you with the transfer of your domain. Please see our web services page or contact our webmaster for more details.
Q. What about Technical Support if I have trouble with my service?

We take our service offering very seriously, and it is our goal to provide you with the best possible service any time you go on-line.
Q. Do I still get billed on my telephone bill?
A. Yes. Billing will carry-on as usual. However, you will now have the option of charging your monthly Internet service directly to your Visa or Master Card account or opting for the direct payment plan. Follow this link for futher information on DIRECT PAYMENT.
Q. Can I access my e-mail from another computer not my own?
A. Yes. Point the browser to this address; http://webmail.rangeweb.net and follow the prompts to enter your user ID and password information to access your e-mail account.
Q. How long does the set-up process take?
A. Typically it will take no longer than 15 minutes to configure your machine and have it running on the new service.
Q. Is there a way to put parental controls on the Internet?
A. Yes. Information on filtering service and other controls are posted on our Parents information page.
Q. What is a vanity name?
A. A vanity name is an alias name for the same e-mail account. This gives the user the ability to personalize e-mail addresses without having to obtain additional e-mail accounts.
Q. What is a vanity web site?
A. A vanity web site is free web space included with your access account. This gives the user the ability to post a vanity web site on the RangeWeb.net server. FTP (File Transport Protical) is done using ftp.rangeweb.net as the host name, your access account User ID and Password for the User ID and Password information and Automatic Detect for the Host Type information. Your web address will be www.rangeweb.net/~youruserID
