Other Critters

We purchased our first alpacas in 2001. They seemed to be a neat "sight" to
include on our ranch. Although we are not raising them, the alpacas sure have
been fun.

Our original alpacas were Charlie and Kevin. Unfortunately, Charlie got sick and
passed away in 2003. To give Kevin some company we added Adrian and Jelly
Bean to the "clan" in 2003. Jelly Bean found a new home in 2007.

Our ranch has had the opportunity to raise and have many kinds of birds
throughout the years.

Our current "inside" birds include a Senegal Parrot and a Green Cheek Conure.
Throughout the years we have had parakeets, cockatiels, and love birds.

Silly is our Senegal Parrot. Silly lives up to her name and loves to brag about
herself! And Nipper is our Green Cheek Conure. Boy, does he live up to his
name! Nipper has a lot of character and loves to get into trouble!

Our current "outside" birds consist of chickens, ducks, and peacocks. We have
had the opportunity to have various other outside birds. They included
pheasants and turkeys.

We have had several dogs throughout the years including many different
breeds. Currently we have one Shetland Sheepdog, two Pembroke Welsh
Corgis, and one "mutt".

Sadie is our oldest dog. Sadie is a mix of German Shepherd, Border Collie, and a
couple of other breeds. She is our outside watchdog.

Rebecca Sue is next in line. She is a tri colored Sheltie. She is the boss of the
house and the inside watchdog.

Katrina is our second to youngest. She is a sable Corgi. AKC registered.

Mattie is our youngest. She is a tri Corgi. A purebred, but not AKC registered.

The misc. critters that can be found on our ranch include our commercial cattle,
milk cows, horses (3 Morgans), 1 miniature donkey, guinea pigs, 2 goats, and
any other critters that may be here for a little while such as bum lambs.

In the past our misc. critters have consisted of sheep.
