Our main ranch house was
purchased from a Sears Roebuck catalog, brought from back east on the
railroad and built on site at Arvada, Wyoming. As the years
passed another house was built (the gate house), a smaller trailer was
moved in with log siding, a porch and sun room added on. Recently,
after we started taking guests in for vacations, another trailer
was moved in to provide additional rooms for guests.

We can comfortably sleep 10-12 in bedrooms, but
with sleeping bags for the youngsters we can sleep 15-20. Our
restrooms have locks, and we are able to work the sleeping
arrangements so that the boys and girls sleep and shower in separate
buildings.
|
 |
We are a quiet ranch enjoying being way out in the
sticks. We do not have any hot tubs, tennis courts, pinball machines
or televisions.
|
 |
Three generous family-style meals are
provided. Special dietary needs will be taken into consideration.
|
 |
We are also a Christian oriented ranch with no alcohol
provided or allowed in the main house, although occasionally some of our
adult guests do bring their own. Smoking is not allowed in the buildings.
|
 |
Sundays are pretty much a day off with some of the
hosts attending church until mid-afternoon. There is a local pastor who
enjoys coming in on Sunday afternoons to hold a small short service if
there is a need, plus his non-denominational church is close by if
anyone would like to attend on Sunday mornings.
|
 |
We are a small guest ranch and with advance
planning we will do our best to schedule so that when your group is
here the other guests are kept to a minimum.
|
 |
Our regular season is June thru September.
Special ideas and accommodations may be arranged anytime.
