Range, in conjunction with the Foundation for Rural Service, is again sponsoring a contest for high school juniors to win what has been referred to as a “trip of a lifetime”.
One high school junior will be selected to receive an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Foundation for Rural Service Youth Tour, June 6 – June 10, 2020. To enter the contest, students must write a short essay that is no less than 150 words, “Why broadband is important for your rural community and how it will impact the future of America?”.
Essays must be postmarked no later than February 21, 2020 and mailed to Range, Attn: Youth Tour Committee, PO Box 127, Forsyth, MT 59327 or emailed to email@example.com.
For complete details including complete eligibility requirements, visit Youth Tour under Community Involvement.
The Youth Tour is a chance for students to visit our nation’s capital and learn about rural broadband, share their community’s story with key legislative, regulatory and government figures as well as a forum for them to meet and interact with their peers from other rural communities.
